Charles L. Correll's Obituary
Charles Landon Correll, Sr., age 67, formerly of Bridgeville, DE, died Sunday, January 15, 2006, at Clarion Hospital in Clarion, PA. He was born May 11, 1938 in Mt. Dora, FL son of the late Theodore W. Correll formerly of Hickory, NC and the late Elsie Weaver Hutton formerly of Bridgeville and Hickory.
Charlie, as most of his friends called him, moved to Bridgeville as a teenager from Mt. Dora. He graduated from Bridgeville High School in 1956 where he excelled in sports. He lived most of his life in Delaware moving to Pennsylvania five years ago.
Mr. Correll is survived by his daughter, Pamela Tull and her husband Jeff and his son, Charles Landon Correll, Jr. , both of Bridgeville; three granddaughters; his sister Marjorie Oliveira of Lakeworth, FL; his brother Bruce L. Williamson of Bridgeville; two Aunts, Ethel Dean of Cambridge, MD and Carrie Lail of Washington State; an Uncle, Lewis Correll of Missouri; eleven nieces and nephews; and many cousins.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 21, 2006, 11AM at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Hardesty Chapel, 202 Laws Street, Bridgeville, DE where friends may call one half hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Cokesbury Cemetery near Georgetown, DE.
