Cathy Hannah Brady's Obituary

Cathy Hannah Brady, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished member of her community, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2025, at the age of 94. Born on April 4, 1930, in Philadelphia, PA, Cathy made her home in Rehoboth Beach, DE, since 1972.
A devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Lewes, Cathy contributed to the church in many ways. She was a dedicated member of the women’s group, which supported the church's banquets, and served as the church’s cashier and treasurer for many years.
Cathy’s love for the outdoors was evident in her passion for gardening, particularly her fondness for tulips. She also cherished time spent at the beach and enjoyed swimming in the ocean. In her earlier years, Cathy loved to travel, especially enjoying warm Caribbean cruises.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kenneth Brady, and son, Bill Brady. Two sisters, Mary Hamilton Allen (Maisie) and Agnes Archbold (Nancy)
She is survived by her sons, Richard Brady (Paige) and Bob Brady (Joanne); her grandchildren, Shawn Brady(Jackie) and Kristin Tana (JT); and five great-grandchildren, all of whom she adored.
Cathy’s warmth, kindness, and unwavering faith will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Lewes, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Chapel Committal Services will be private.
