I met Toot at the American Legion post 34. I had the pleasure of volunteering with her and Sue usually in the kitchen or behind the scenes. She always had a smile to give away and brought life to every party at the post. We both shared the love of being a part of something bigger then ourselves. I will miss her laugh and St Patricks day attire. May the comfort of Our Lord be with you Sue and everyone who loved Toot! She will be missed by many. Sincerely Lisa Myers
My husband and I met Toot and Sue at Riverside and instantly Toot welcomed us literally with open arms. As soon as we met these two we loved them both. She was the light of the party she will be greatly missed. Thank God we still have Sue. We love you both. RIP fly high. Love Donna and Ron Reese
We met Toot at American Legion Post 34 several years ago. She was one of the most wonderful people we have ever known. She always had a smile or hug for you. We can't imagine how many lives she has touched because everyone that knew her loved her. She will be missed by so many. Our thought and prayers go out to everyone who's life she has touched. May she RIP and look forward to seeing her in Heaven in the future.

Toot came to see our band Screamin Daisys all the time. I have been playing a long time and sometimes forget the reason I do, and why we have remained popular all these years- because of people like her who came to see us and enjoy live music. She always had a smile on her face and was having a good time, and if that's the way she lived life, you can't beat that. Rest In Peace.

Oh my goodness! If this is "Toot" of Toot and Peewee from when we were all little kids - I am so sorry to hear of this. I believe Harold and Lydia were your aunt and uncle. We used to go camping with you. Our families. Your family may not remember the Nelson family but we would go camping a lot with all of you. I think of you all and may you all heal and find peace.
