I am speechless. I can't stop crying enough to share with friends. Cathy was my travel planner, yes. But more, I considered Cathy my friend. I talked to her about her daughter and the dog Bernice. She was heartbroken when she had to put down the sick cat. When our Alaskan cruise went haywire, Cathy's son was about to help us get to our port. I just can't comprehend right now how much the loss of my friend hurts. Cathy was a genuine lovely individual (and too funny for words!) Ken and Carol Niehaus
Cathy took my position at Bethany Travel. I didn't know her as well as the other co-workers but we did take a trip with the office together and you could tell her love of travel and people in general. I was working part time and knew when Kathy moved she wanted full time. It was my time to leave and was grateful to Kathy that she was available and superb knowledge of the travel industry. Rest in peace , you will be deeply missed by everyone who came in contact with you.

I met Cathy in 1983, we worked at a camera shop in Old Orchard Beach Maine and remained best of friends until we lost touch when she moved to Florida in 1990, shortly after she had her daughter Catie. She was so friendly and loved to laugh and make others laugh, we both had a love for music, especially for Bruce Springstein. RIP old friend and keep Rocking
