Carolyn Crawford Wissinger, age 84, of Lewes, DE passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2022. She loved the Lord, His Church, the Word of God, her husband, and family. She was born on March 30, 1938, in Wilmington, DE, daughter of the Read Obituary
Carolyn was a wonderful person, loved by all who knew her and will be missed. I will always cherish our family get togethers as children and the family reunions that she arranged in recent years. My heart aches for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Prayers are with you as you grieve the loss of the family matriarch.
Mrs. Wissinger was my social studies teacher at RLCA. She was a tough teacher! But she was fair. I had the pleasure of meeting her again as an adult, at Calvary Baptist Church in Georgetown. She and Mel were so welcoming and kind. Mel even came by the house and visited us! I will cherish our lunches at Mulligan’s Point in the past two years. Praising God that she is rejoicing in heaven with Mel now! Both such Christ like examples. Wendy Weaver-Kwiatkowski.

My heart breaks for the both of you. I was very upset to hear of Aunt Carolyn's passing. You both will be in my prayers daily as I will be asking angels to look over your families. Your mother was a very strong, beautiful and active person but her faith in God is what gave her the path to lead a wonderful life. She and Uncle Mel were always traveling, bragging out her families and both always smiled. and brought warmth. Your mom had a beautiful laugh and her face lit up when she spoke of all of you. She is rejoiced with Uncle Mel, Cindy, my father Bill, her sister Nancy., my sister Debbie, aunts, uncles and parents. I bet she is smiling and is in the comfort of our Lord.
