Carolyn "Bonnie" L. Futcher's Obituary
Carolyn "Bonnie" L. Futcher age 67 ,of Milton, DE passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on October 9, 2009, after a short illness.
She was born on July 4, 1942, in Baltimore, MD daughter of the late Robert Douglas and the late Irma Murphy Eaton.
Ms. Futcher retired as Head Teller from Citizens Bank in Lewes, DE in May 2008 after 30 years employment. She also had worked part-time at Christmas Tree Hill for 14 years. She enjoyed the beach, was an avid reader and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by three daughters, Kim Vincent and husband Rick of Harrington, DE, Kelly Hobbs of Georgetown, DE, and Stephanie Coulbourne and husband Bill of Milton, DE; a brother Bill Sturmfelz of Rehoboth Beach, DE, grandchildren Emily Vincent and Collin Vincent both of Harrington, DE, Jesse Hobbs and Meggin Hobbs both of Georgetown, DE, Shane Coulbourne, Connor Coulbourne and Ryan Coulbourne all of Milton, DE, a niece, Mandy Sturmfelz of Arlington, VA and a nephew, Mark Sturmfelz, of Savannah, GA.
Memorial Services will be held at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at 7:00 PM with the Rev. Dr. Jonathan Baker officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to services. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to Tunnell Cancer Center, 424 Savannah Road, Lewes, DE 19958 or to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 163, Salisbury, MD 21803-0163.
