Carolyn Frances Holland's Obituary
Carolyn “Sis” Frances Holland, age 78, of Millville, Delaware, passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Berlin Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born in Weston, West Virginia, on September 21, 1947, the daughter of the late Walter Clem Woodson and Agnes Marie Woodson (Neal).
Carolyn married the love of her life, Francis W. Holland, on February 25, 1967, and they shared 55 wonderful years of marriage together. She will be remembered for her strong work ethic and her dedication to keeping a spotless home — something that often drove Francis crazy. Carolyn had a deep love for her dogs and cared for them deeply, they brought her constant companionship and joy. Her family takes comfort in the thought of her reunion with them beyond the Rainbow Bridge. She was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Crystal Dawn Holland and her husband, Eric Michael Heller, of Millville, Delaware; her brother, Robert “Terry” Woodson; her sisters, Nina Churchill (Woodson) and Clarice “Tiny” Currie (Woodson); along with many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved husband Francis W. Holland, her brothers, Joseph Woodson, Walter “Sam” Clem Woodson, Jr., William “Bill” Woodson, Harley “Johnny” Woodson, and Raymond “Jake” Woodson; and her sister, Wanda Hawkins (Woodson).
