Carol Mae Webster's Obituary
Carol Mae Webster, age 71, of Milton, DE passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2016, at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born Monday, November 20, 1944 in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of the late Edward and Charlotte (Anders) Fritz.
Carol was the lead teacher for many years at Sunshine Preschool in Milton, DE, where she touched and brightened the lives of so many with her caring and optimistic personality. She was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Rehoboth Beach, DE, where she regularly attended services with her husband, Ronald. Carol's greatest pleasure was either hosting or attending family gatherings. In addition to birthday, anniversary, and graduation parties for her immediate family, she also enjoyed the Thanksgiving, Easter, Christmas, and other celebrations involving her extended family. She was a devoted wife, mother, Oma, and friend. Carol was continuously supportive of her family and always willing to help wherever she could. She was known as a positive, enthusiastic, and joyful participant in life. Her presence will be sorely missed and deeply felt by all who knew her.
Carol is survived by her beloved husband of 48 years, Ronald S. Webster, III; her sons: Adam S. Webster, of Milford, DE, and Drew E. Webster, of Wilmington, DE; her daughter, Abigail B. Webster, of Lewes, DE; her grandchildren, Ethan and Owen Webster of Wilmington, DE, Jacob, Kenza, and Noah Webster of Milford, DE, and Charlotte and Harper Cotton of Lewes, DE; her sister Diane Dower of Earleville, MD; her daughters-in-law, Fadwa and Pam Webster, and her son-in-law Ron Cotton.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at 2:00 PM at All Saints Episcopal Church, 18 Olive Ave, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971, where friends may visit beginning at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Episcopal Relief Fund.
