Carol Ann Kraus' Obituary
Carol Ann Kraus, age 75 of Lewes, DE formerly of Wilmington, DE passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, October 20, 2010. She was born on December 6, 1934 in Nashville, Tennessee and relocated to Wilmington in 1948. She was the daughter of the late James Vernon Crick and Clara Holladay Crick.
She was a 1953 graduate of Conrad High School and retired as an Administrative Assistant from the State of Delaware.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son John Raymond Kraus Jr.
Surviving are her husband of 56 years John Raymond Kraus Sr.; daughter Cynthia Simkins Welch and husband Dan of Newark, DE; granddaughter and grandson Brittany Simkins and Brett Simkins, both of Newark, DE; step grandsons: Matthew Emmons, Kyle Welch, Tyler Welch all of Newark, DE; brother Ronald Crick and wife Nancy Crick of Hockessin, DE, brother Jerry Crick and wife Edie Crick of Chesapeake City, MD; and three nieces and their families.
The family would like to extend thanks and gratitude to the compassionate caring staff of Delaware Hospice of Sussex County.
Memorial services will be held on Monday October 25, 2010 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Gracelawn Memorial Park, New Castle, DE. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Arrangements by Parsell Funeral Home, Lewes, DE
