Carol Anne Brannan's Obituary
Carol Anne Brannan, of Ocean View, DE, passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2016, peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Washington, D.C., loving daughter of the late Robert Omer and Harriet "Betty" Spiker.
Carol grew up in Mt. Rainier, MD and was a graduate of Northwestern High School in Hyattsville, where she met the love of her life and husband of 54 years, Philip Brannan. She spent many years working as a Secretary and Office Administrator for the U.S. Supreme Court, Federal Bureau of Investigation, University of Maryland-Institute for Physical Science and Technology.
Carol raised her family in Hyattsville, MD and Beltsville, MD, before retiring to "the beach" in Delaware. She was the loving mother of three children: Phyllis Keehn and husband, Sean, of Bowie, MD; Sharon Bussink and late husband, Jim, of Lusby, MD; and Danny and wife, Jocelyn, of Laurel, MD.
Carol's true joy over the past 28 years came from loving and spoiling her four grandchildren: Meghan and Ryan Keehn, and Zachary and Joshua Brannan. She also enjoyed spoiling her grand-doggies as well.
Carol enjoyed spending time and laughing with her good friends, at all stages during her life.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2016, at 3:00 PM, at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Clarksville Chapel, 34874 Atlantic Avenue, Ocean View, DE 19970, where friends may visit beginning at 2:00 PM. Interment will be private.
