My thoughts and prayers go out to the whole family at this time of loss of such a wonderful person in your lives.
We graduated from St.John's College H.S. 65 years ago (ouch!) Back then teenagers weren't cool but "smooth operators". Dick was smooth. I remember him as a great athlete, sharp cadet, major in the regiment and a Harley traveler to school. I enjoyed his company, conversation and decency. I offered my Mass this morning to his spiritual well being. He served his country honorably (Thanks). If only we could have connected one more time. He'll always be remembered as my classmate, friend and buddy. We both had crew cuts but Dick's was taller than mine.
