Camille Ann Weyant's Obituary
Camille Weyant, age 76, of Milton, DE, died suddenly on Wednesday, November 5, 2025. Born in New Haven, Connecticut, on December 15, 1948, Camille was the daughter of the late Emadio and Josephine Malavasi of North Haven, CT, and the loving mother of the late Eric Michael Weyant of Milton, DE.
Camille was a proud graduate of Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven, CT, where she earned a master’s degree in elementary education. Her professional career was dedicated to teaching and nurturing her students at Nellie Stokes Elementary School in Dover, DE. In her retirement, Camille enjoyed basket weaving, traveling, and spending time with her family and many friends.
Camille is survived by her grandson, Dylan Eric Weyant of Milton, DE, whom she cherished; her sister, Denise Malavasi of Mesa, Arizona; and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
In addition to her parents and her son, Eric, Camille was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Malavasi of Wallingford, CT, and her infant great- granddaughter, Elizabeth Payge Weyant.
Camille will be remembered as a kind, loving, and selfless mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She will be deeply missed and forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at 11:30 AM at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 631 South State Street, Dover, DE. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Dover, DE.
