Byron Landon's Obituary
Byron Landon, age 54, of Milton, DE, died suddenly on Thursday, Thursday, December 28, 2006, at his residence. Mr. Landon was born August 22, 1952 in Camden, NJ, son of the late John T. Landon, Jr. and Ethel (Bowden) Landon.
Mr. Landon was a self-employed masonry contractor. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved people and was known to everyone. He was a devoted husband and father. Mr. Landon was a member of the Zion Methodist Church in Milton.
Mr. Landon is survived by his wife of 34 years Barbara "Bertrand" Landon; two daughters, Khara Landon of Dover, DE and Margaret Ann Landon of Milton, DE; a sister, Ann Richter and her husband John of Milton; three brothers, John T. Landon III of Nassau, DE, William Landon and his wife Jill of Lewes, DE, and Keith Landon of Nassau; as well as his wife's siblings and their spouses, many nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 3, 2007, 2 PM at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at the Milton Cemetery, Union Street, Milton, DE.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Delaware Hospice, 20167 Office Circle, Georgetown, DE 19947.
