I knew Bruce as a classmate at North Canton Hoover High School. He was truly one of the nicest guys in our class! Always had a wonderful smile and a kind word. Rest in peace, Bruce. And to his family I offer my deepest sympathy.

I grew up, in North Canton, with Bruce. His family were members of the same church, to which my family belonged. Bruce and I had our one and only "date", meeting at the local movie theater (The Park Theater), when we were in junior high, and watched a movie, together. I am saddened by his death but filled with joy at the life he led. Rest in peace, Bruce.

Bruce and Karen are two of the finest people I have ever known. Bruce was our contractor when we renovated our newly purchased beach house and it was perfect! From that task, he and Karen became good friends and he continued to maintain the house for me. I loved his visits and I always learned from him. He always made me smile - a great sense of humor, honesty, honor, perfection in his work and just plain fun to be with. I can't tell you how devastated I am at his loss - it is deeply felt by me and my son who also cared for Bruce. Bruce helped me every year keep this house I love in great shape. He completed Phase III of the renovation of the house with a new kitchen and a dormer to enlarge an upstairs bedroom. He made the house a successful rental once again - without his help I could never have completed the task and it never would have worked out so well. He was always willing to help cheerfully even on that tough job and again it was perfect!
I will always miss him as a friend and for his unfailing support - he was so special.

Karla, Paul, & I were so sorry to hear of Bruce's passing.
He was such a wonderful kind person. I remember us stopping by the house on my way from cardiac rehab and he was in the garden . He wanted us to have some of his bounty with us.

I am so sorry to hear of Bruce's passing. He was a great teacher, craftsman and human being. The skills and knowledge he imparted on many many Sussex County youth will be truly missed.
