Dear Shelley,
I am sorry I was not able to attend Brenda’s service today but was grateful for the opportunity to view it by Zoom. It was a beautiful, moving, robust and poignant tribute to Brenda—a true force of nature. All the participants did themselves, and Brenda, proud. Your eulogy, and the extraordinary poem you wrote for her, brought to life the vibrant and deeply connected relationship you forged together. My heart goes out to you. In this time of profound loss, know that you are surrounded by people who love and support you. I’ll be saying Kaddish with you tonight and Monday here in Wyncote.

I will miss you Brenda! I was always happier after being in your company and could always count on a laugh and a good dose of positivity. You will be missed.
Shelley, I am sorry for your loss and I want you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Please be well and do keep in touch.

I haven't seen Brenda in many, many years, but my memories of her are all of happy and fun times. I feel she really enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest.
Shelley I am so sorry for your loss. Over the last ten years I have grown to love the stories you shared about Brenda. Her life was full of adventures and laughter. She shot from the hip, was honest and loving! To this day the getting stuck kayak stories are my favorite.
Love, laughter and light — what ‘embraced’ me every time I encountered Brenda even before a physical hug. I feel honored to have known this amazing person, who set the bar highest for generosity and compassion, defied obstacles to achieve her goals and desires, and so much more. Brenda lives on in love, shared life lessons and, by immersion, in Shelley.
Sending big hugs. Even with Zoom my job will keep me away from the funeral. I will just keep holding onto memories from your wedding. Brenda will be so missed.
We had lots of fun times meeting for supper at Shady Maple! :) <3
