Brenda Lee Maculley's Obituary
Brenda Lee (Lanning) Maculley, 58, of Milton, DE (formerly of Ridley, PA) passed away on Friday, April 22, 2016 at her home. She was born on August 4, 1957 in Chester, PA, daughter of Gloria and the late Richard E. Lanning.
Brenda graduated from Chichester High School and worked as a Secretary in the construction industry. She retired in October 2015 to move to the Delaware beaches with her loving and devoted husband of 25 years, James Maculley.
Brenda loved spending time with her family, most of all her eleven grandchildren, Brianna, Kyle, Racheal, Hailey, Andy Jr., Savannah, Trinity, Dominic, Olivia, Kenleigh and Ricky. She also loved helping out at the ABT Tournament on the weekends and going to the casino when she could. Brenda loved to laugh and just have a good time with her friends and family.
Brenda is survived by her loving husband, James Maculley of Milton, DE; daughter, Kristen Given and her husband, Eddie, of Glenmoore, PA; a daughter, Susan Denucci and her husband, Andy, of Bristol, PA; two sons: Michael Werner of Glen Mills, PA; Rick Werner and his wife, Natalie, of Philadelphia, PA; and two brothers: Jeff Lanning and his wife, Genny, of Lewes, DE; Richard Lanning and his wife, Dee, of Lincoln, DE.
A Celebration of Brenda's Life will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2016 from 10 AM to Noon, at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE 19958. Interment will be private.
