As my sister said, our cousin Parkie was a very sweet and gentle man even though we didn’t see him a lot! We enjoyed his visits and getting to know Beth! I remember we brought our daughter’s softball team to D.C. for a tournament and they were very hospitable, letting us park in their yard! I’ll always have that vision in my head, of him directing us! Dee and I enjoyed a lovely dinner with them! I always enjoyed talking about our family genealogy with him over the years!

My husband and I first met Parker when he was dating Beth, my college roommate. It was obvious, even then, how deeply he cared for Beth. Years later, after we moved to Grand Cayman, Parker and Beth came for a visit and fell in love with the island. As a result, they became snowbirds, our annual winter visitors. Parker, a fine man and loving husband, became our friend. We will miss his Cayman visits.

My cousin Parker was a kind and caring man. I always enjoyed spending time with him as a child, and later visits with him and Beth. We did not see each other often since we were on opposite sides of the US, but those few visits were always memorable to me. Warmly, Margaret Livingston

Parker's parents and my parents knew each other. Years later, I got a job as a secretary at Mason, Fenwick & Lawrence. Didn't even know that Parker worked there. What a surprise. A few years later, Beth's sister, Susie and I were having lunch with Beth. She asked if we knew any nice guys who at least were no longer living at home and had a job. Susie and I looked at each other and said "PARKER." And it worked! So sorry Parker is no longer with us. He was such a lot of fun and will be missed. Caroline Hedegaard Boyd, Falls Church, Virginia
