I will never forget the times you cared for me. Love you, Uncle Moon
They say we know parents through their children and even though I didn't know "Moon," as a good friend of Greg's I know he must have been a remarkable man and a great dad. He'll be missed by all he loved.
Moon, the last of the three brash young men who married the Wren sisters after returning from WWII. Always concerned that his family and loved ones were ok. He saved a 12-year old Kevin whose paper route collections had come up 10 bucks short because of profligate spending at the soda shop.
He was also an athlete. He and Mike taught two very cocky 15 year old boys that body positioning and passing, plus a few sneaky tricks, can beat speed and size. They left two very dejected boys begging for a rematch.
And Party guy -- The Funkmeister made sure everyone had fun whether they wanted to or not!
But when you speak of Moon, you have to talk about Boots. They truly put each other's happiness before all else. They stuck together through thick or thin (and there was some thin). That is the example they leave us all.
When it was time to go, Moon would just up and leave. So now he has made his exit, and all the Dugans mourn with you, Bootsie, Greg, Billy, and family. We love you all.
uncle moon was such a loving and caring man he always took care of his whole family including his nieces and nephews you will always be loved and missed
Thoughts and prayers to Greg, Billy and family. Uncle Moon had the biggest heart always concerned about everyone else. Memories of him playing with all us kids will stay with us forever.
Uncle Moon we will miss you. I will be coming to the funeral and I know the first thing you would ask me is "which way did you come?" Then you would have told me about a shortcut. It was always a good day when Mom and Dad said we were going to visit Aunt Bootsie and Uncle Moon. I know Mom and Dad will be there to greet you when you take your "shortcut" to heaven. Greg and Billy and the rest of the Mullen's mayf God comfort you during this difficult time. Bryan & Sue
I will miss you Uncle Moon. You were so kind to me over the years. Many of my pre-marital girl friends loved you.
