Always a smile!
Hal, Deepest condolences on your loss. Our prayers are with you and your family
The Phillips Family sends our thoughts and prayers to the family and friends of Bev. What a pleasure walking into Jefferson School and seeing her. She was a kind, caring and overall sweet lady. There was never a time when she didn’t know exactly how to handle any situation. She will remain in our fondest of memories.

"Miss Bev" will remain in the hearts of my family forever... Claudia and Sam always knew that they could go to Miss Bev if they needed anything at The Jefferson School. She was there for all, with a smile and open arms and heart. Our sincere condolences go out to her family.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Mrs. Bev was the secretary, nurse and much more throughout my entire elementary school years. I’m so thankful I was able to know her ❤️
From the moment I met her I felt a piece of home. She was so genuine and caring wrapped up in a whole lot of fun! Her spirit was infectious. At a party I felt special to be invited to ...I can still see my Josh reaching up to try one of her fresh pineapple slices... lol “oh no!” They we’re adults only. She was FUN and will be deeply missed.
I don’t have the words to describe how much Ms. Bev meant to me as a student of the Jefferson School. She is one of the kindest people I have ever met and greeted everyone each day while a smile and a hug if you needed it. I have so many fond memories. She will be missed!
I spent the last ten of a 40 year teaching career at The Jefferson School. I looked forward to going to work each and every day, having found a little slice of heaven. What a pleasure it was over those years exchanging greetings upon arrival each morning with such a wonderful lady in my dear friend, Bev Wenner. I had often said that I hoped Bev wouldn't retire before I did, and I still think of thanking her. Bev was a lovely, fun-filled, and very caring lady who meant so much in some way to everybody who passed through those doors as secretary, administrative assistant, nurse, and good friend. We shared a lot of laughs. (I still can't believe the number of years she had posted behind her desk in the wall a picture of the two of us, mocking the signing of a contract for me to return the next year!) My world and the world, in general, were made better places through Bev Wenner's warm personality. My heart goes out to the family, especially, to all my fellow teachers, to former students who attended TJS, and to the families of former students.
Miss Bev was the heart and soul of the Jefferson School. From her warm smile that greeted us each day to her care and concern for us throughout our years there...she was everyone’s Mom, Grandma, and best friend. We love her and will miss her dearly. But we know that one of the first smiles that we will see in heaven will surely be Miss Bev’s. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.
Love,
