Betty L. Ludlow's Obituary
Betty L. Ludlow, age 91 of Wilmington and Milford, DE, passed away peacefully in her sleep, at the Milford Center early Saturday morning, November 12, 2016. She had resided there since April of 2013. She was born in Wilmington, DE on May 28,1925.
In her 91 years, Betty was an energetic, fun-loving, and kind-hearted person. Her favorite hobbies were bridge, gardening, ballroom dancing, and traveling. Her companion, Roy Heath and her traveled the world.
Mrs. Ludlow's career job was at WPVI, Channel 6 in Philadelphia. She was an executive secretary. When she retired from there, she worked for a temp agency for several years. She was a member of the Eastern Star of Pennsylvania. She was a former member of Parkside Methodist Church.
Her companion of 30 plus years, Roy Heath, preceded her in death in 2009. Her sister, Dorothy Dorris Barksdale, died in 2012. She is survived by her niece Debbie Dorris and her wife, Karen Dorris, a sister, Hazel Rowles and a son, Bob Ludlow.
All Services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, Debbie requests contributions be made to the Milford Center, 700 Marvel Rd., Milford, DE 19963.
