Beth Anne Brown's Obituary
Beth Anne (Zimmerman) Brown, age 49 of Lewes, DE, passed away after a courageous and valiant battle with cancer, on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at Beebe Medical Center, in Lewes. She was born on October 2, 1972, in Lebanon, PA, daughter of Roy Lee and Nancy (Hartman) Zimmerman.
Beth grew up in Richland, PA and graduated from Eastern Lebanon County High School, Class of 1990. She was known for her great sense of humor and her “up for anything” willingness for adventure. Beth was an artistic soul, as well as a lover of nature, enjoying kayaking and relaxing on the beach, listening to the waves crash as she soaked up the sun. She adored attending cheer competitions with her daughter and treasured the quality time it afforded them. Beth was a cancer warrior. Never seeking pity, she was a fighter and an advocate for others battling this ferocious disease, and she helped countless others navigate their cancer journeys. Above all, Beth cherished time with those she held most dear. She was a loving and devoted mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, who was loved by many. She will be deeply and genuinely missed by all who had the good fortune to know her.
In addition to her parents, Beth is survived by her beloved daughter, Gracelyn Gregg; her brother, Thomas Zimmerman; her sisters: Christen Weaver (Dave) and Patti Wagner (Dale); her niece, Emily; and her nephews: Jeremy, Zachary, Noah, and Sam.
