Bertha May Cooper's Obituary
Bertha (Bea) M. Cooper left this earthly planet at 5:15 AM on December 2nd, 2023, on her way to her permanent heavenly home. She will be received by her loving husband, Dick Cooper, as well as her parents, Leonard, and Sarah Tweed. Bea's siblings John, Leonard, Gene, and MaryAnna Tweed will escort her along with her oldest son Gordon R. Stoops.
She leaves behind two sons, Roger A. Stoops of Millsboro, DE, and Jack L Stoops of Bear, DE; her four grandchildren: Roger Stoops Jr., Jessica Lee Wilson, Erica M. Jones, and Adam Stoops. Bea had three stepsons: Thomas Cooper of Dagsboro, DE, John Cooper Jr. of Millsboro, DE, and George Cooper and his children; she also leaves behind three step grandchildren: John Cooper III, William Cooper, and Mary Cooper; and eight great and step great-grandchildren: Lily Rose Wilson, Damien Stoops, Cameron Stoops, Roy Jones IlI, Mia Jones, Abigail Jones, Lilith Marie Boyce, and D'Artagnan Cooper. Bea loved her kids and family above all and enjoyed being down at the beach. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
