Bernard Harold Knollinger's Obituary
Bernard H. Knollinger, age 81 of Milton, DE passed away on Monday, July 04, 2016, in Milton, DE. He was born Friday, March 08, 1935 in Wheeling, WV, son of Woodrow Knollinger, Sr. and Virginia (Altman) Knollinger.
Mr. Knollinger proudly served in the Army during Korea War. Forever a patriot, he was a member of Post 1 VFW in Wheeling, WV, and the Ohio Masonic Lodge. Mr. Knollinger was a partner in the family owned Middle Creek Garage in Tridelphia, WV where he worked for years as Vice President. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Mr. Knollinger is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Connie Knollinger; his son Bernard Knollinger, of Milton; his daughter Sheleigh Parziale and her husband Chris, of Milton; and his grandchildren, Wade Parziale, of Milton, and Mia Parziale, of Los Angeles, CA.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 08, 2016, at 8:00 PM at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE. A Viewing will be held prior to the funeral service, where friends and family may call from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Interment will follow at a later date at Greenwood Cemetery, 1526 National Road, Wheeling, WV.
Memorial contributions may be made to Delaware Hospice, 3515 Silverside Road, Wilmington, DE 19810, or Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children, 3551 N. Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19140.
