Bartlett B. Todd Jr.'s Obituary
Bartlett B. Todd, Jr., 76, of Lewes, Delaware, passed away in the loving care of his family after a courageous battle with cancer on Monday, February 9, 2026.
Born on December 26, 1949, in Rockville Centre, New York, he was the son of the late Bartlett Bolling Todd, Sr. and Rosemary (McWilliams) Todd.
Bartlett was a proud member of the High School Class of 1968 and continued his college education in Florida. He later built a dedicated career working in maintenance at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, New York, where he was known for his strong work ethic and reliability.
He shared many happy years of marriage with his beloved wife, Carol Todd, who predeceased him.
Bartlett found great joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved painting and fishing, hobbies that brought him peace and fulfillment. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family.
He will be deeply missed and forever loved by all the lives he touched.
He is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Rea, and son-in-law, Mark Rea, along with their daughters, Isabella and Gabriella Rea; his son, Bartlett Bolling Todd III, and daughter-in-law, Melanie Todd, along with their sons, Ryan and Sean Todd; his daughter, Jennifer Planas, and son-in-law, Joss Planas, along with grandsons Tyler and Dylan Figueroa; and his beloved cat, Cashmere. Also, survived by his sister Rosemary Arana, brother-in-law Charlie Arana; sister Elizabeth Dunphy, brother-in-law Patrick Dunphy; sister Sally Todd Edgar, brother-in-law Allen Edgar; and brother Thomas Todd, partner Joan Hayden. Along with his many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Carol Todd.
A funeral service will be held with family and friends in Long Island, New York.
