I remember one time visiting Aunt Barbara with my family, including our two young children. My daughter Miranda was an aspiring young artist, and I remember how Aunt Barbara immediately bonded with her over visual art, showing her her studio and supplies. Our daughter was enthralled.

She also never, ever, forgot a birthday or other celebration. The cards always came, always thoughtfully chosen, always with a short sweet message inside.

Thank you, Aunt Barbara, for the love you shone into our lives.
