Barbara Ann Farrell's Obituary
It’s always hard losing a loved one, but the time has come for us to say goodbye to our beloved Barbara Farrell, age 82 of Ocean View, Delaware. She was born on April 14, 1940, in Washington, DC, daughter of the late John and Martha Schultz.
Barbara was very active in her community. She was a member of the Irish club, The Red Hat Society, the Ocean City Line Dancers, and was a member of the Cheer Center, where she delivered Meals on Wheels for many years. Barbara loved life; she loved interacting with people everywhere she went, and most of all, she loved dancing and music . Barbara loved all the people in her life and was always willing to lend a hand to someone in need. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, and she will be deeply missed.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert E. Farrell, Jr. She is survived by her children: Hubert Farrell (Babette), John Farrell (Tracy), Debbie Farrell, Colleen Farrell, and Leigh Farrell; her grandchildren: Christopher, Marc, Ana, Amanda, Hailey, Hannah, and Eric; her great-grandchildren: Layni, Camden, Teagan, Tristan, Nia, Eric Jr, Jasmine, and Kaikoa; and her sister, Doris Schultz Nolan.
