Barbara E. Bryant's Obituary
Barbara E. Bryant, age 93, of Lewes, DE passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2016, at Beebe Healthcare, in Lewes, DE. She was born Sunday, April 22, 1923 in Dexter, ME, to Oscar and Arvilla (Thorndyke) Bryant.
Miss Bryant graduated from Dover High School and McIntosh Business College in Dover, NH. She was a secretary for many years, retiring as parish secretary of St. Thomas' Episcopal Church, Dover, in 1997.
Miss Bryant is survived by her nephew, Rod J. Brooks of North Carolina; cousin, Faith T. Roberts and her family of Belfast, Maine; and her niece-in-law, Betty O. Pratt and her family of Lewes, DE. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Mildred (Pratt) Cannon and Verna E. Brooks, her brother, Norman T. Bryant, and her nephew, Jere E. Pratt.
Interment will be held on Monday, August 29, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Bryant Road, Dexter, ME.
