Barbara V. Baglin's Obituary
Barbara V. Baglin, age 85 of Lewes, DE, passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2017, at Delaware Hospice Center, in Milford, DE. She was born Tuesday, October 06, 1931 in Washington, DC, daughter of the late Willard and Mildred (Holt) Gray.
Mrs. Baglin, a native of Bethesda, MD, worked for many years as a medical secretary. She was a woman of deep faith and an active church member throughout her life. Her kind heart and sense of humor were shared with all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a dedicated caregiver to her husband in his later years. Mrs. Baglin's most cherished moments were those spent with her family and friends. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Baglin was preceded in death by her beloved husband, the Reverend George Raymond Baglin. She is survived by her sons: William Gray Nicholson and his wife Laura; Brian Arthur Baglin and his wife Natasha; her daughters: Emilie Baglin Crosser and Lynn Baglin Stabner and her husband Cliff; her grandchildren: Katie and her husband Eric, Ben and his wife Jakki, Angela, Billy, Matthew, and Scarlett; and her great-grandchildren: Sophia and Olive.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, July 16, 2017 at Epworth United Methodist Church, 19285 Holland Glade Road; Rehoboth Beach, DE.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in Mrs. Baglin's memory to Delaware Hospice Inc, 100 Patriots Way; Milford, DE 19963.
