Genevieve B. Prettyman's Obituary
Genevieve B. Prettyman, age 81, of Lewes, DE, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at Beebe Medical Center. Mrs. Pretytyman was born on February 19, 1927 daughter of the late Lucinda and Edward S. Wolfe.
She was preceded in death in 1993 by her first husband of 43 years, Thomas H. Burton, Jr. and by her second husband of 13 years, Kendal Prettyman on June 28, 2008.
She had volunteered at the Sussex Pregnancy Center and was a treasurer for the Marine Auxillary. She was an active member of the Lewes Church of Christ at The Crossing. She was loved by all.
Surviving are her children Cheryl Skinner, Carol Dukes, Richard Burton, 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday August 2, 2008 at 1:00 PM at the Lewes Church of Christ at The Crossing, 15183 Coastal Highway, Milton, DE where friends may call after 12 noon. Burial will follow at the Epworth Methodist Cemetery, Rehoboth Beach, DE.
