Arthur Lane was a man of honor, integrity, and strong moral values and principles which guided him throughout his lifetime. He was a true patriot, a disabled war veteran, and a faith-based man who led by example. He loved his family and friends, his country, and his military veteran brethren. Art retained his keen intellect, his sharp wit, and his passion for life until the end of his days. What a blessing to live for nearly a century while maintaining one's cognitive ability, good health, and desire to make the world a better place . . . that was Art Lane! He was a true inspiration to those who knew and loved him best. It was my distinct privilege to have known him. We enjoyed good conversations and a shared worldview. He was a kindred spirit and I shall never forget him, nor his contributions to the world. My deepest sympathy goes out to the Lane family in the loss of this special man. I am comforted in the knowledge that he resides in Heaven today with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
With sincere condolences,
