Arthur Ruben Columna's Obituary
Arthur “Art” Ruben Columna, 72, of Millville, DE died on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at his home with family by his side. He was born in Honolula, HI on June 12, 1953, son of the late Vincente’ Umani Columna and Rufina Placido Columna.
Mr. Columna was a structural Steel Welder employed with several companies over the years. He retired in 2015. He loved the Washington Redskins and enjoyed being with his beloved dogs. He also was passionate about gardening and reading.
Art is survived by his wife of 47 years, Claire Columna; three children, Allison Columna of Millville, DE, Arthur Columna, Jr. and his wife, Tonia of Lewes, DE, and Ian Columna and his wife, Shannon of Bridgeville, DE; favorite grandson, Abel Columna; granddaughters, Addison Columna, and Amanda Columna; eight brothers and sisters, Alicia Takaquchi and her husband, Clyde of Maryland, Vincente’ Columna, Jr. and his wife, Pat of Colorado, Richard Columna of Maryland, Twin brother Charles Columna and his wife Diana of Delaware, Phillip Columna and his wife Jeanie of California, Virginia McCrakin and her husband, Hugh of North Carolina, Anthony Columna and his wife Maria of North Carolina, and Anne Columna of North Carolina; and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
