So sorry about Tony. When Tony came into the Outfit, New Jersey State Police, I was assigned as his Trooper Coach at the Woodstown Barracks. Tony was a fast learner and very bright. I really enjoyed training Tony. We lost touch with each other after the Trooper Coach period but I always had great memories of Tony. Rest Easy Tony, William Trump.
It was always a pleasure to work with Tony at the Lewes Library. My condolences to all the family. He will be greatly missed.

Dear Uncle Tony and Aunt Jean, we are so sorry for your loss! You will be in our thoughts and prayers.
Love, Mary Jean Weir Leisner and Thomas Leisner
I was fortunate to work with Tony for several years at the Lewes Library. He was a great coworker and a better friend. Even when he was going through so much of his own stuff, he always asked about my family, especially my Dad and kids. He was so helpful, both to patrons and coworkers.

So very sorry to hear of Tony’s passing. He was a great guy and will most definitely be missed by many. Condolences to the family.
My condolences to the D’Amico family. I attended Bishop Eustace for two and a half years and have unfortunately not seen Tony since our 1966 graduation. During those Eustace years both our Dads had become good friends. Of course, what initially comes to my memory is Tony wearing jersey number 39 and he and I being teammates in the backfield on the football team my last year at Eustace. But upon reflection, what I truly recall was Tony’s naughty laugh and then our ignominious moment of almost blowing up the school. I doubt this account is known to many if any in the D’Amico family. During our chemistry lab Tony and I sat next to each other and were separated by a shared sink. One day early in class I had discarded some chemical into our sink then later Tony dumped a potion into the sink and there was an immediate sound of “poof’ followed by a small cloud rising from the sink with a disgusting odor. Tony had been looking into the sink and when the cloud rose it singed his eyebrows. Luckily, his eyes were not harmed. Our nearby teacher, Mr. Fox, yelled “open the windows and get out of the classroom”. Post our safe evacuation, during our next class when Tony sat down next to me I looked over at him and Tony started laughing. I couldn’t control myself with my hands covering my face while giggling. Yes, he had a great laugh and there were and are many wonderful memories of Tony in the class and on the football field. I hope at this time of mourning my memories of Tony can bring a smile to the D’Amico family members as it does for me. Tony may you Rest in Peace. Tom Reilly, Class of 1966.
Growing up around the corner from my cousins is filled with many special memories. Tony was 7yrs. older, and his favorite greeting to me was always, "Hi ugly!" 😄 I never took offense because that was Tony, and he was the big mahoff to us kids.
Tony was always strong willed, and what he fought through was proof of that. He also loved to teach, recommended the best books to read, and we always had great conversations when I would visit at Aunt Jean and Uncle Tony's.
As sad as it is to lose him, I know he is free of the body that failed him. And as God promises when we get to Heaven, we will receive a new body, so that makes me happy for Tony.
With our love, and thoughts for your peace to Aunt Jean, Uncle Tony, Michael, Joe and extended family.
