I'm happy that I was able to visit with Uncle Tony shortly before his passing. First time I ever saw him with a moustache, and it looked great on him! Fortunate to have lived around the corner from Aunt Jean, Uncle Tony and the "boys" growing up and I have a lifetime of memories; good, bad and the ugly (especially when Joe and I were running into the house and my arm went through the storm door window) I was more concerned about hightailing it out of there before Uncle got home then the blood! I'm not sure if I was ever forgiven for that one! 😉
I also have fond memories of the times our families spent at Ocean Gate, but not when Michael or Tony, (forget which one) was jumping on the bed and put a hole in the ceiling, yikes!
Uncle Tony sure did mellow over the years, I think it was when he had grandkids, they were his pride and joy.
So, for now it's goodbye, and God speed Uncle until we meet again in Heaven. Hope you're enjoying a good cigar and head massage (more childhood memories).
Love you,
Donna, Joe & Amelia
