I knew Tony ever since we went to St Edmond's Catholic School. He always was a special ,caring person! I have always had a special place for Tony in my heart! God didn't make many people as good and nice as Tony! he was always a pleasure to be with! Thoughts of Tony will never die. Tony has passed, but his memory will never go! Memories like the ones Tony left are eternal! I remember when Tony became an altar boy! His first mass was so exciting for a lot of his friends and family !The day of the service finally came! There we all were in the church waiting to see how Tony did! The service began and Tony was like a pro! I'll never forget how well he handled his part
Tony held his shoulders high , and was ready for everything the priest needed just like an altar boy should! We all were proud of Tony that day! Everything he did was all well performed, in order, and no mistakes, no confusion. He jus No confusion, He was ready for everything! He was a young man, held himself tall
He brought that to just about everything he did. I will miss you.
Tony and I grew up together. Played basketball and track I high school. What a friend. The Sing family is in my prayers.
So sorry to hear about the passing of Tony. I was a lifeguard at CHSP from 65 through 72 and I got Tony to join us sometime during that time period. Tony was athletic and could run with anyone and was a good swimmer as well. I have lost contact with Tony over the years but I will always remember his smile and laugh and that he was fun to work with and be around. I extend my sympathy to everyone in the Sing family. I was so very sorry to hear of Tony’s passing. Tony and I went to catholic school together then on to public school. We use to play together as kids, his Aunt Mary lived down the street from my family and when he visited her he would come to our house. He had a great sense of humor and always made me laugh. I remember him getting in trouble in catholic school and the nun was so mad at him that she punished him by making him stay in at recess, well it didn’t last long, because he always had a way of buttering up to her. After graduation from high school I lost touch with Tony. In 2009 our Catholic school, St. Edmonds had a reunion, I saw Tony and it was like those years hadn’t passed...still had that sweet smile and that great sense of humor.
My deepest sympathy to all the Sing Family. Rest In Peace my old friend ❤️

I met Tony in the summer of 1969 and a friendship began that lasted 40 some years. Tony loved to surf and was always up for another adventure, that’s what it was like for me hanging out with Tony, plenty of adventures, in the early 1970s Tony and I got a job on the NOAA ship Whiting which at the time was tied up in Lewes. Tony was a natural for the ship, all the guys loved his sense of humor and if you knew Tony you knew he had the gift of gab, we worked on the ship for Some time and it was never boring hanging with Tony, we would hook our surfboards on a Honda dirt bike and surf on the backside of St. Thomas VI and all around Porta Rico, Tony was always in the moment. Tony was a standout carpenter for many years and even with eye problems he never made excuses about doing the job at hand, Tony was the best man at my wedding and I at his, Tony was more like my brother than a friend, I could always count on Tony if I needed help, Tony loved his family, loved being a husband, father, grandfather. My little world will never be the same and Lewes will never be the same. I am not allowed to share all of what we got into but what a ride. I know Tony is not in pain any more and can finally see clearly again. I am truly blessed to have had such a good friend.

Tony, Tony, Tony, what a great guy. In high school Tony and I were surfing buddies. We enjoyed surfing every wave that we could catch from Indian River Inlet to Nags Head NC. Many times we would leave before the sun came up so we could catch a beautiful sunrise 🌅 and a glassy swell in 🏄♂️ the same moment. Tony was passionate, what a great guy.
On several occasions Tony was Not Up and ready to go at 5 or 6 am so I would have to go to his bedroom window and knock to get him up. Sometimes our noise woke the whole family.
Tony had faith in God and his parents made him go to church every Sunday morning. On more than one occasion I would drop Tony off a Saint Edmunds Catholic Church in Rehoboth. I remember Tony would step inside the door and listen to the mass for 2 to 3 minutes and run back out to my Chevy Malibu with surfboards on top. Off we went to ride those wave until the sun would set.
Tony Sing was a friendly funny guy and if you had the pleasure of knowing him as I did you to might say:
Wow! What a guy that Tony Sing.
Who will tease me now about having big feet when I walk in that door on Kings Hwy?! I will truly miss this special uncle. Uncle Tony was always fun to be around. I never had a doubt that I was loved and welcome through the years of traveling to DE to see our family. Priceless memories were made in these times. It stood out to me how much Uncle T enjoyed having all us kids around. He was entertaining with stomach rolling and taught me how to create and release spit bubbles off of my tongue! He was just as welcoming to my little ones when they came along. Aunt C., J, M, & J, and all who feel the pain of this loss... May God comfort you with His Spirit of Peace which surpasses all of our understanding and lead you in His path of Truth and Life. Because this life goes quick, but for those who put their hope and trust in His gift, Jesus... He carries us from death to life! And that’s a life that lasts forever! I Love you guys! ❤️
So very sorry for your loss. My sympathies to the entire Sing family. Please make sure that I know when a memorial will be held in the future to celebrate his memory.
