Anthony Signorile's Obituary
Anthony Signorile, age 90, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2026, at Beebe Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Signorile was born on May 24, 1935 in Staten Island, New York, son of the late Joseph and Maria Carmela Signorile.
Anthony spent the majority of his years in New York, where he built a life rooted in hard work and community. He proudly served as a New York City bus driver for 28 years, retiring in 1990. He was a man of faith and was a member of St. Christopher's Parish.
In 2020, he moved to Lewes with his wife, where he found great joy in gardening, a hobby that brought him peace and fulfillment. He was also a devoted fan of Big Band music. He even had dough shipped in from Brooklyn so he could make his own pizza.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Rose Signorile (Biondi) of Harbeson, Delaware; his daughters, Theresa Pommerenk (Gregg) of Harbeson, Delaware; Marie Coppola (Vinny) of Harbeson, Delaware; his son, Joseph Signorile (Terrie) of Staten Island, New York; and his sister, Joann Lanahan of Staten Island, New York. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren whom he cherished.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Memorial services will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday, April 10, 2026 at the Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE where visitation will begin at 3:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
