Anthony "Tony" J. Pulcinetta
Retired 7-Eleven Owner
Age 72, of Rehoboth Beach, passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2010 at Delaware Hospice Center, Milford, DE. He was born on December 17, 1937 in Philadelphia, PA, son of the late Anthony and Lucy Pulcinella. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Jo Ann Pulcinella.
Tony "Pop" led a long and fulfilling life and touched everyone that he encountered. He served as a Specialist 4 in the United States Army from 1961 to 1963 and was a Franchisee-Owner of the 7-Eleven store in Rehoboth Beach. Upon retirement, Tony loved to play golf, camp, travel, watch the Philadelphia sports teams, and play with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy Pulcinella; two sons: Tony Pincinella III and wife Jen and David Pulcinella and Liz Morton, and a sister: Louise Gordon of Florida. Immediate family members include: Russell Whitmire, Bobby Stewart and wife Peggy, Lisa Bales and husband Alan, Karen Leonard, and friend Sue Ivey. Grandchildren include: Zachary Pulcinella, Sydney Pulcinella, Claudia Pulcinella, Wil Leonard, Alex Bales, Diamond Leonard, Bobby Stewart, Jr., Shannon Stewart, Bryan Stewart, Danielle Whitmire, Shelley Fennell; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and many other loving family members.
Memorial Services were held on Sunday, October 3 at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes, DE.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
