Anthony Charles Mastromarino's Obituary
It is with a heavy heart that the family of Anthony C. “Tony” Mastromarino mourns his passing at home on March 25, 2024. Tony was born on February 11, 1943, in Washington, DC. He was one of six children of the late Anthony D. and Patricia (Hartonczyk) Mastromarino.
Tony held various jobs, starting at a young age, before becoming a Printing Pressman at DeLancey Printing in Washington, DC. While living in Virginia, Tony enjoyed taking his sons camping, crabbing, and traveling to theme parks. While not able to serve in the military himself, Tony was extremely proud of his three sons who served. After moving to Maryland, he met his wife, Jeannette, on June 5, 1999, and they married on April 30, 2005. They moved to the Eastern Shore where they built their home in Milton in 2008. Tony and Jeannette spent many wonderful years taking walks with their Westie, Ginger, around town. He was a gregarious person and would stop and chat with everyone he met, no matter how young or old. Tony enjoyed volunteering at the Milton Theater and Casa San Francisco. Some of his favorite pastimes were bowling, reading, watching westerns on TV, and Tony was an avid Steelers fan. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Printers Union.
Tony is survived by his loving wife, Jeannette, his siblings Frank (Della) Mastromarino, Antoinette (Edward) Beckman, his sons, Larry, Anthony, James, Charles (Gina), and Christoper (Jeremy), his stepchildren, Lisa Strother (Randy), James Davies (Karen), and Christine (Ian). He was a loving grandfather and “Papa Tony” to Marcelo (Angelina), Contessa and Dominick Mastromarino, as well as Caleigh, Lucy, and Jeffrey Strother, and Ila Davies. Tony also leaves behind his sisters-in-law Linda and LuAnn Mastromarino, Joan Hamilton, and many treasured nieces, nephews, cousins, and caring friends.
In addition to his parents, Tony was preceded in passing by his son Joseph Mastromarino, brothers Michael and Joseph Mastromarino, and sister Patricia Haas.
