Chris Baker
Uncle Tony was the last of a strong and proud generation of Baker siblings, his younger sister, Mary B Baker preceding him by just a couple months. I regret that I did not call/write him in the past year. He and Aunt Suzanne can take much pride in the excellent children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren they blessed us all with. I once was told by his younger brother (my Dad) and sister (Aunt Mary) that the Baker kids of Hammonton, NJ use to sit around in the Depression days and wonder if they would make it to the new millennium. Also, they may have wagered on who would live the longest. I suppose that back in the 1930's the five of them must have been torn between being young and living forever and being 60+ years from the turn of the century and thinking that it would be a long ways away. Well, Uncle Tony, you win on both counts, but only be a few weeks :o) on the second count. My prayers go out to you Dave and you Barb and your families.
May the Living and Loving God comfort you and touch your hearts in these hard days.
