Anne "Louise" Bunting's Obituary

Anne Louise (Wagamon) Bunting, age 90, formerly of Coolspring, passed away on Saturday January 18, 2020. She was born on July 1, 1929 in Lewes, DE, daughter of the late Jeremiah and Alberta (Waples) Wagamon.
Louise was a member of the Lewes High School class of 1947 and a longtime member of Groome United Methodist Church where she served as treasurer for many years. She was a Past Worthy Matron of Georgetown Chapter No. 9 Order of the Eastern Star, and active in Jobs Daughters.
She enjoyed sewing, needlecrafts, and making jams, jellies, and preserves. Louise was a frequent volunteer for events for the organizations which she supported.
In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey James in 2008. She is survived by her children: Stephen K. Bunting of Alexandria, VA, Mary Lou (Bunting) Lawlor (Mark) of Wilmington, DE, Thomas A. Bunting (Jodie Sue Kelly) of Annapolis, MD, and Rev. Dr. Jay E. Bunting (Heather) of Davis, WV; her granddaughter, Jessica Nowell (Jeff) of Wilmington, DE; her great-grandchildren: Andrew Nowell and Sophia Nowell of Wilmington, DE; and her brothers: Charles Wagamon and Jerry Wagamon, both of Texas.
The family would like to thank Griswold Homecare and Hospice of the Chesapeake for making Louise’s final years comfortable.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 24, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE, where friends may call beginning at 10:00 AM. A viewing will also be held on Thursday, January 23, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Interment will follow the services at Coolspring Cemetery, Milton, DE.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions in Louise's memory to Groome United Methodist Church, 601 Savannah Road, Lewes, DE 19958.
