Anna M. Moore's Obituary
Anna M. Moore, age 84, of Sun City Center, FL passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2014. She was born on March 27, 1930 in Kirkwood, NJ, daughter of the late William and Margret Ansley.
Anna was married to Thomas L. Moore for 61 years and they resided for many years in Woodbury, NJ. They would later retire to Rehoboth Beach, DE and Sun City Center, FL. Anna was a member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Sun City Center.
Anna was a homemaker, teacher’s aid and secretary. She retired from Glassboro State College in 1987, where she worked in the library. Anna enjoyed traveling and cruising around the world in retirement. She also enjoyed the beaches of Delaware, Maryland and especially the Gulf Coast of Florida.
In addition to her parents Anna was preceded in death by her siblings Helen, Margret, Frances and George. She is survived by her husband, Thomas of Sun City Center, FL; her son, Thomas W. Moore of Philadelphia, PA; her daughter, Theresa A. Shope of Fogelsville, PA; one granddaughter, Erin T. Shope of Rochester, NY and one grandson, Colin D. Shope of Philadelphia, PA.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11 AM on Monday, December 29, 2014 at St. Edmond Catholic Church, 409 King Charles Avenue, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971 where friends may visit beginning at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at 1 PM at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE 19966.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Lifepath Hospice Sun City Center Hospice House, 3723 Upper Creek Drive, Ruskin, FL 33573 or the American Heart Association, 200 Continental Drive, Suite 101, Newark, DE 19713.
