Ann Marie Alushin's Obituary
Ann Marie Alushin, age 93 of Rehoboth Beach, DE passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2016, at Delaware Hospice Center, in Milford, DE. She was born Sunday, September 23, 1923 in Ambridge, PA, daughter of the late Nicholas and Mary Matich. She was loving, quick to smile, always an organizer, from the office of the Salary Stabilization Board in Cleveland where she worked during WWII to the board of education where she finished her career. Generous in sharing her time and talents in churches, PTA, Eastern Star, International Toastmasters and professional organizations, often becoming a leader in groups she joined. In retirement, she wrote a local history column for the Beltsville News and was active in the Riderwood community as long as she was able. Survived by her loving son Michael (and his wife Barbara) of Lewes, DE and grandson Gregory of New York, NY.
