Ann M. (Macintire) Martin's Obituary
Ann M. (Macintire) Martin, age 66 of Lewes, DE passed away peacefully at her residence on Feb. 6, 2006. Ann was born June 12, 1939 in Lewes, daughter of the late Howard Franklin and Fredonia (White) Macintire.
She was a lifelong resident of Lewes and took great delight in continuing lifelong friendships with those she grew up with in Lewes. Ann was noted for her lifelong custom of sending anniversary, birthday and holiday greeting cards to her many friends. She also enjoyed socializing with her many friends at the Lewes Yacht Club of which she was a member for 25 years. Ann was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Ann is survived by her devoted husband of 26 years, Richard Martin of Lewes; a son Joseph Stevens Lyshon and his wife Laura, grandchildren Megan and Steven Lyshon, all of Ft. Pierce, FL; her daughter Elizabeth Ellen Dickson and her husband Tom, grandchildren Christann and Adam, all of Easton, MD; stepson Richard J. Martin and grandchildren Christopher and Sarah, all of Dover, DE; stepdaughter Deborah J. Guelette and her husband Richard, grandchildren Jonathan and Taylor, all of Hartly, DE; and two brothers: Robert G. Macintire and his wife Bette, and James F. Macintire and his wife Ruth, all of Lewes, DE. Ann also leaves to be remembered her many lifelong friends that she cherished throughout her entire life. Unfortunately, there are just too many to name.
Funeral services will be held at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Second Street, Lewes, DE on Saturday February 11, 2006 at 11:00 AM with Father Jeffrey A. Ross officiating. Interment will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery, Pilottown Road, Lewes. Visitation hours will be held Friday evening, February 10, 2006 from 6-8 P.M. at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Tunnell Cancer Center, C/O Beebe Medical Center, 424 Savannah Road, Lewes, DE 19958.
