To Ann Walls McCool family,
My mother Teresa and I would stay at her cottage every year in the 60's and 70's. I can't tell you how many pleasant memories we have now to cherish. She wanted my mother to stay with her in the summers and I loved sleeping on a cot in the screened in porch! I wish I could go back in a time machine and relive those summer days. I like it that all seems to have remained the same with the trees, and buildings. May Ann rest in peace in heaven's cottages above.

I am so sorry to hear of Mrs. Walls-McCool's passing, my sympathies to all her family and friends.
We stayed at Wall's Cottages a few times when I was a little girl in the early 1960s and I still remember those brief vacations, it was difficult for my father to get away from work then.

Ann Walls McCool...what a remarkable lady. I still am in awe of how you could remember everyone's name and how you took an interest in their families. What a wonderful example of a classy lady. Our trips to Rehoboth will not be the same but we treasure the memories we have staying at Suzanne B. Thank you Ann. RIP

An incredible woman. I loved talking to her when we checked in and out. My only regret was that she was not my teacher. I spoke to a Washington Post reporter about her and he was interested in doing an article about her. Initially she seemed interested but when I called back she was in the midst of writing her letters and said she did not have time. I admired her dedication. A large part of the appeal of staying at Wall's Apartments was interacting with her. She will be sorely missed although I am grateful for the time I spent with her.

Our family became Ann's family over the past 30 years. Such a beautiful person she was. Cabin 16 was our place of residence each August. When I retired to Florida we still took trips to visit with Ann. She watched our daughter grow up, and then our grandkids too. We will miss her dearly. Our love and prayers are with her family today.

Our family has many fond memries of our yearly visit to Rehoboth with Ann Walls McCool. She was a gracious, intelligent and thoughtful host. I enjoyed our yearly visits and her delight when announcing our second set of twins. We stayed in every unit including the Ashley and Kenney House. Rehoboth will not be same missing Ann Walls McCool. Condolences to family and friends. Thank you for sharing a wonderful woman. There will never be another like her.
