Alnea L. Weisbrod “Alma” 95, passed away peacefully at the Manor House on June 4, 2018. Alma was born Oct.1, 1922 in Jersey City, N.J., the daughter of George & Wilhemina Berkoben. She married her late husband Clifford Weisbrod on Read Obituary
I worked at Southern Ocean County Hospital and knew Alma from that time and for all the years she worked there. Met Clifford later when he came to the hospital for physical therapy. Both Alma and Clifford were blessings and to know them was to love them both. Alma was kind and generous, always with a smile for everyone. I was very sad to see her name come up on the obituary page today. I hope her life in the intervening years was good; on the last picture here she looks life she was celebrating a good life of 90 years. My sympathy and prayers for Alma's family.

My earliest memories of the family include my dear Aunt Alma, dancing with Uncle Cliff, and with my Aunt Edie and with my dad. Wonderful to watch them all dance, laugh and enjoy each other. Through the years they all stuck together and were there for each other. Many fond memories of them clinging to their German heritage and their traditions. Of course the one that sticks out for us all was the pickled herring on new years eve. I loved her crumb cake - it was the best!!! So, many memories - She was a blessing to all around her. She will be missed.
