Allan Spencer Percival's Obituary

Allan Spencer Percival, age 79 of Bridgeville, DE, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. He was born in Vineland, NJ, on November 16, 1939, son of the late Keith and Gilberta (Watters) Percival.
Mr. Percival was a University of Maryland graduate, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Finance. He built a career in banking, retiring as a vice president. Mr. Percival was a proud US Air Force Veteran, having been stationed in Japan during his honorable service. He married the love of his life, Marjorie (Leslie), on August 22, 1964 in Bridgeport, WV, beginning a lifetime of treasured family memories. Mr. Percival was an active member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Bridgeville, DE, and he was an avid stamp collector and golfer. Above all, Mr. Percival cherished the moments with those he held most dear. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend who was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Mr. Percival is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Marjorie L. Percival of Bridgeville, DE; his daughter, Lisa Elaine Percival of Germantown, MD; his son, Scott Percival of Germantown, MD; his sister, Marianne Thorpe of Fairfield, ME; his niece, Cheryl Kennedy Lella of Norwich, NY; and his nephew, Daniel Boone III of Seattle, WA.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at 11:00 AM, at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 2 North Williams Street, Bridgeville, DE, where friends may visit beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private.
