Alice Adomakoh's Obituary
Alice Adomakoh, age 49, of Milton, DE, died suddenly on Friday, July 10, 2009, at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Ms. Adomakoh was born and raised in Ghana, West Africa, daughter of Joseph K. and Florence (Dapaah) Adomakoh.
Alice, along with her husband and children moved to the United States five years ago. Alice worked at the Beebe Medical Center in the housekeeping department. She was a devout Christian who found great solace in her daily read of the Bible. She loved life and being involved with the Friendship United Methodist Church community. More than anything, though, she loved her husband and children to whom she was devoted. She will be sorely missed by all those whose lives she touched.
Alice is survived by her husband Augustine Nsiah; a daughter, Julia Serwaa; four sons, Augustus Nsiah, Emanuel Owusu, Joseph Nsiah and Michael Nsiah; three sisters, Linda Adomakoh of Virginia, Charity Adomakoh and Evelyn Adomakoh, both of Ghana; and one brother, Andrew Adomakoh of Ghana.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 8, 2009, 9:30 AM at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE with Pastor George Fisher officiating, Friends may call at the funeral home beginning at 9:00 AM. Interment will be at Epworth Methodist Cemetery in Rehoboth Beach, DE.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 163, Salisbury, MD 21803.
