Alexandra Nicolletta Walters' Obituary
Alexandra Walters of Lewes, Delaware, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2026, at the age of 78.
She was born in Washington, D.C., on May 19, 1947. Alexandra had a long and varied professional career, first in the business sector and later in real estate, where she built many valued relationships. She was known for her generous heart and longtime support of charitable causes, including St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Covenant House (a charity that provides shelter and support to youth facing homelessness) the SPCA, local food banks, and the Red Cross. In her free time she enjoyed travel, exploring destinations across England and Europe, including Italy and France; savored desserts; followed the Redskins football team; and was an enthusiastic listener of Willie Nelson’s music.
Survived by her husband of 39 years, Steven Walters; her daughter, Justine Beachley, and son-in-law Michael Beachley; her grandson, Jordan Beachley; her brother, Ray Brown; her nephew, Mark Schwenk; extended family and cousins; and her beloved cats, Scarlett and Liza.
Preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary Libert, and her sister, Vicky Schwenk.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Alexandra’s memory to Covenant House — https://www.covenanthouse.org — to support young people experiencing homelessness.
