Alexander Alain Mendez Reyes' Obituary
Alexander Mendez Reyes, age 20 of Georgetown, DE, passed away tragically on Sunday, April 17, 2022. He was born on October 26, 2001, in Georgetown, DE, son of William Mendez and Lidma Reyes.
Alex was graduate of Sussex Academy and was currently a student at Pitzer College in Claremont, CA, where he was pursuing a degree in Chemistry and Chicano studies. In his free time, he enjoyed going out to eat, working out at the gym, spending time with his friends, and listening to music. He loved to share his experiences of his personal life with his beloved parents. Alex’s devotion to his family, however, took precedence above all. Loved by many, he will be deeply missed by all who had the good fortune to know him.
In addition to his parents, Alex is survived by his brother Willy Mendez Reyes and his sister, Angely Mendez Reyes.
A Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 24, 2022, at 3:00 PM, at Crossroads Community Church, 20684 State Forest Road, Georgetown, DE, followed by a funeral service at 4:00 PM. Interment will take place on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at 1:00 PM, at Woodlawn Memorial Cemetery, 25136 Dupont Boulevard, Georgetown, DE.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Dodd-Carey Chapel, 307 N. Bedford Street, Georgetown, DE.
