Albert Earl Snapp's Obituary
Albert Earl Snapp, 76, of Rehoboth Beach, DE, passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Beebe Healthcare, Lewes, DE. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland, on August 27, 1940, son of the late George and Gertrude Snapp.
Mr. Snapp, known by many as Mr. Al, served in the Navy, was a member of the Masons, worked as a mechanic and was a co-owner of L & S Diesel, Inc., a diesel engine repair corporation. Mr. Snapp and his late wife, Helen Snapp, moved to Rehoboth Beach in 2000, where he started Deb/Kay Inc., a property management company.
Mr. Snapp is survived by his son, Tony Scarpati; his daughters: Deborah Meyers and Diane Hagne; his grandchildren: Kaylyn Meyers, Michelle Kosmalski, Joseph Kosmalski, Katie Johnson, Patrick Scarpati, and Julie Scarpati; his great grandchildren: Brittany, Nathan, Leah, Aubrey, Silas; his sister, JoAnn (nee Snapp); and his longtime friend Duane Zentgraf.
Mr. Snapp will be cremated and will be entombed at Veteran Memorials Cemetery, Millsboro, DE. A Memorial Service will announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in Mr. Snapp's memory to the Wounded Warrior Project www.woundedwarriorproject.org. Cards of condolence may be sent to his son, Tony Scarpati at 3215 Hooper Road, New Windsor, MD 21776.
