Albert Alan Milstead's Obituary
Albert Alan “Al” Milstead, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2026, at the age of 84.
Known to family and friends simply as “Al,” he was a proud U.S. Army veteran and a hardworking man who owned and operated his own carpet business for many years. In his younger days, he was an avid bowler. He was also a devoted football fan who faithfully cheered on the Washington Redskins (Commanders) throughout the years.
Al was preceded in death by his parents, Melville Brown Milstead and Leona Elizabeth Dilworth Milstead, three sisters, one brother and one son.
He is lovingly remembered by his beloved wife, LouEtta Bariel Milstead; three sons, his brother who resides in Arizona, and many extended family members and friends who will cherish the memories they shared with him.
Al will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his strong work ethic, his love of sports, and the many friendships he made throughout his life. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice in Albert's honor.
